The Giraffe discovers vanlife

Having taken the van out for her own little adventure the Giraffe returns to share her traveling spirit with the rest of us.

The end of March and beginning of April brought with the itch to get out and explore the surrounding region. First stop was Redcliff in eastern Alberta for a little mountain bike action in the plains of Alberta.

Redcliff gets its name from you guessed it - red cliffs!

The next weekend was Easter and we crossed the mountains into BC over to the high desert town of Cranbrook for some climbing and biking

Giraffe, turned navigator guiding the way!

Is this really the correct way to the campsite?

"This way" - she says

wait, what's this under the log? is it...

Easter bunny and chocolate Reeses eggs! Whats that Giraffe been up to?!

With all the excitement its time for coffee and tea

Followed by some climbing

and biking

Evenings sitting around campfire playing ukulele and singing songs

At some point during all of this we might have been chased by dinosaurs

tried to climb a frigid mountains

and may or may not have made some new friends
