Did I mention rain yesterday?!

If so the heavens opened up today and produced a good tropical downpour - My car port provides shelter but not protection from biblical opening of the heavens.

Further adding to my frustrations a last minute showing of the house meant I spent the morning packing everything up, hiding around the corner for 30 minutes and unpacking everything... ughhI surprising got a lot accomplished between noon and 4pm.

On one side of the van I installed a second layer of insulation around the metal framing, the paneling beneath the bed and the support beams for the bed. The insulation layer is a reflective layer and protects against thermal bridging across chassis.

I used the danish oil on the paneling - not sure what I think about an all wood looking van? Might need to rethink my 'color' scheme.

To install the paneling and bed frame I used plus nuts. The forums seem to be split on whether to use rivets or plus nuts - I choose plus nuts for no real reason.
