This week I spent a few days cycling around Banff before meeting up with Eva and going to the David Thompson Corridor for some climbing. The theme of the week was bears.

Meanwhile I cycle up to the continental divide, my bike meanwhile is unsure what way to go...

After a few days in Banff we pick up Eva for a long weekend climbing in the David Thompson corridor. We take some time to take in the views...

Weekend home...

The question is where to climb? The Giraffe reviews the guidebook...

Day 1 - "the Darkside" - sport climbing on limestone pockets... I think someone was so excited to climb they forgot to take photos...

Day 2 - Mt Sillyfox, an adventurous route up a limestone face. The route is somewhere up this...

Eva racking up...

on approach...

Climbing...

At belay...

walking off...

And stopping to admire the geology...

Day 3 - it rained... Thus we packed up and hit the open highway

We ended back up in Banff for some more multi-pitch fun on Tunnel Mountain. Eva climbing...

...happy to be at the belay...

...and close to topping out

And of course the obligatory selfie,,,

Ciao for now!
