Not sure if I installed it right but job done! Added a little bit of bling to give it that real vanlife feel.
Getting kind of jealous looking at other peoples blogs - sitting there with there dogs, out by the beach, in bathing suites, looking young and wonderful. So I figured the least I could do is make my van look like a dog. That makes me almost part of the club,... hahah.
Not a lot of photos today - just installed more and more insulation. For the most part it is all in. Still have a little touch up work to do. some panels need to be trimmed and I'm sure I missed some holes that need to be stuffed. Took more time then expected, mainly because there are lots of small areas that need to have individual pieces cut and installed. The one nice part is most of the insulation is held in place by the framework of the van and did not require adhesive.

I was worried about installing the ceiling panels but the adhesive did a good job of holding them in place almost instantly

A coupole fo the larger panels are left to do as I am waiting for windows to show up . I just got an email saying they should be here on Friday. So I guess on Saturday I will be installing windows.
Tomorrow I clean up the insulation and tidy it up. I need to add molding to the floor edges to make those look neat too. Then I have to start thinking about:
framing the bed
solar, battery and beginnings of electrical
windows and fan (waiting on delivery otherwise they would have been first)
furring strips
run wiring
ceiling and lights
.kitchen
water system
propane sytem
storage
walls
sitting area / office - maybe I'll work again someday...
upgrading stereo
all terrain tires
suspension upgrade depending on overall weight and drivability
???
photos of me in the van, looking happy, with a dog, by the beach, at sunset, taken from a drone - then I'll be legit. :-)
